This edit is from a trip I took through Sweden and Slovenia last year. One aspect of the trip which I really enjoyed was that I was not on a filming mission, I was travelling promoting my film and I’d just hook up with locals or the people I was travelling with and if someone was ripping I’d take out the cameras. The lack of pressure made me relaxed and hopefully the skaters felt that too as they were already skating well in the first place. I didn’t even intend on producing anything from the trip, I was more just experimenting with different techniques to see if I could come up with something new and what emerged was the vid you see here. Cheers to Emma Lindgren, Oliver Schonqvist, Craig Scott, Jake Snelling and David Stenstrom for ripping and big big ups to the dudes at Carhartt for making all the travel a possibility!

I also love drawing, so I spliced in a few sketches throughout the edit. I don’t like hoarding too much so I’m going to stick the sketches above in with the next few orders of the Format Perspective book, I hope whoever gets some enjoys them!
My mate Craig “Questions” Scott also did some illustrations for this, you can check out more of his stuff on his blog.
I’ve been filming quite a lot lately working on a few things so hopefully I’ll be sticking more edits up in the not-so-distant future.
